Hi. I'm Joe. I'm glad you're here.

From Eden to Eternity, Together is a space where we can explore the Scriptures together—from the very beginning in Eden to the promise of eternity with God. The "Together" part is what makes this special: this isn't just me teaching at you; it's us learning from each other, asking questions, and encouraging one another on the journey of knowing God better.

Why This Vlog?

I've been studying the Bible since 1984, driven by a simple desire: I wanted to know the God who loves me so much that He gave His Son so we could have a relationship. That hunger to understand Scripture has never left me.

Over the years—through personal study, life experience, and earning my MA in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary—I've gathered insights I want to share. But more than that, I wanted to create something that would outlive me, a place where these conversations about God's Word could continue and bear fruit long into the future.

My Journey

My path to understanding Scripture has been wonderfully diverse. I was raised Catholic, born again in a Spanish-speaking Assemblies of God church, and later studied at a confessional seminary. This journey taught me something important: no one person or denomination has a monopoly on the full truth of Scripture. God is simply too big, too profound, for any of us to grasp completely on our own.

That's exactly why we need each other.

What to Expect

Each week (or every couple of weeks), I'll post a 5-10 minute video on a topical Bible study. These aren't meant to be exhaustive lectures—they're conversation starters. I'll share what I've learned, raise questions worth pondering, and then I want to hear from you.

The real learning happens in the discussion. Ask questions. Share your insights. Respectfully challenge ideas. Let's dig into God's Word together.

I'm committed to responding to comments and questions within three days (unless I'm on vacation!). Our community motto is borrowed from a wise saying: "In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, charity."

This community grows through personal referrals. Why? Because I want to maintain a quality community where we can have meaningful, respectful engagement. When you invite someone you know and trust, you're helping to create a space where real dialogue can happen—where we can disagree with grace and learn from each other with open hearts.
